12/23/05 - Welcome all to the official, unofficial MagniForge production blog on MagniForge.com. We had fully intended to keep everyone posted on progress during production of Winter Wood, but we're just now getting our blog software up and running, and we're thrilled to say that we're already in post-production on our first full-length feature, having beaten our schedule expectations thanks to a hugely cooperative effort from friends, partners, cast and crew alike on location in Arkansas. The towns, counties and entire state were incredibly generous, and we're so grateful for their help.
As you may know, we're also hard at work in pre-production of our second full-length feature film, Sugar Creek, which is a co-production with James Cotten's Dark Highway Films. Stay tuned, and we'll be sure to have some thoughts/interviews here in this very blog from James Cotten, our director, and we'll hopefully have a few more cast and crew drop by to give you the inside scoop on our latest creation. As always, we'd love to hear from you anytime, be it for a rant, a rave, or a simple question. We've got a ton of interest in our first project and can't promise we'll respond instantly, but we'll try to personally answer each and every e-mail we receive, so fire away! Hope to chat with you all soon, and we're shooting to have a trailer/teaser of Winter Wood up for you to look at ASAP. We're hopeful you're going to be as thrilled as we are with the results.
