12/23/05 - Welcome all to the official, unofficial MagniForge production blog on MagniForge.com. We had fully intended to keep everyone posted on progress during production of Winter Wood, but we're just now getting our blog software up and running, and we're thrilled to say that we're already in post-production on our first full-length feature, having beaten our schedule expectations thanks to a hugely cooperative effort from friends, partners, cast and crew alike on location in Arkansas.

A groundbreaking supernatural western in which a vagabond Civil War veteran finds his destiny as he comes to the aid of a small group of survivors and the local preacher in their struggle against a demonic gunslinger and his horde of followers.

A gripping noir western about a shoeless man who awakens inside an open coffin, to find himself being hunted by a dark rider who will stop at nothing, and must kill everyone in his path. This has happened six times before. (Co-Production with Pale Horse Productions, LLC.)

Winter Wood (2005)
A riveting thriller in which two graduate students travel significantly out of their "comfort zone" into a rural Arkansas town in search of information about an old folk myth concerning a man called the Sin Eater. When the sun sets, their academic adventure becomes a fight for survival as the myth of the Sin Eater becomes an all-too-real tale of violence and backwoods terror.
